Lerina Koornhof is an associate within Duncan Craig LLP litigation practice group, with a focus on general and commercial civil litigation. Lerina prides herself on being committed to her clients’ issues and interests, being highly prepared, and ensuring clients are well informed during the litigation process.

Lerina completed her Juris Doctor at the University of Alberta in 2017. During her attendance at the University of Alberta, she was involved in various committees and boards including the positions of Associate Editor for the Alberta Law Review and as a Tribunal Member with the University of Alberta Discipline, Interpretation, and Enforcement Board. Lerina was called to the Alberta bar in 2018.

In addition to speaking English, Lerina's first language is Afrikaans and she studied Spanish during her bachelor's degree in Humanities. She focuses her free time on family, travel, sports, and volunteering. As a committee member on the Duncan Craig LLP Community Giving Committee, she can always be found lending a hand to all internal or outreach endeavors. Personally, Lerina has focused on making a difference helping children and at-risk members of the community through non-profit organizations including Kids Kottage, KidStart, and Kindred House.
