Andrea L. Willey



Andrea Willey is a partner at Duncan Craig LLP and practices in the Financial Services and Banking, Litigation, and Family Solutions groups. She has represented clients in Alberta Provincial Court and the Court of Queen's Bench of Alberta.

In her role as a Financial Services lawyer, Andrea specializes in representing lenders, creditors, and debtors in complex legal matters. This includes foreclosure, mortgage and security enforcement, priority disputes, debt recovery, unsecured judgment enforcement, and breach of contract disputes. With her extensive knowledge and experience, Andrea is able to help clients protect their interests and navigate potential legal obstacles to recover secured and unsecured debts.

In the Family Solutions group, Andrea offers clients practical solutions and strategies pertaining to family and matrimonial law. Her area of work includes guiding clients through negotiations of prenuptial and cohabitation agreements, property division, and providing consultation on estate planning as well as corporate restructuring for family-owned businesses.

Andrea received her Honours Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Alberta and her law degree in 2011. During her time in law school, she was a member of the Alberta Law Review Editorial Board. She joined Duncan Craig LLP in 2011 and was called to the Alberta Bar in 2012 and the Northwest Territories Bar in 2016. She became a partner at the firm in 2019. Andrea is a member of our firm’s Associate Development Committee and the leader of our Mortgage Enforcement and Unsecured Collection department.

Outside of work, Andrea enjoys spending time with her rescue dog Louis, indulging in her love of Star Trek and Harry Potter, and travelling to different baseball parks around North America. To date 17/30 baseball parks have been visited. She was raised in Viking, Alberta, and is proud to have spent her entire career with Duncan Craig LLP.
