In Talisa’s Own Words:
“My journey in the legal profession is shaped by the values instilled in me, within and outside of the legal profession, of providing quality service and the importance of compassion. I understand that businesses are run by people, and that serves a guiding light in my legal practice, reminding me that behind every contract and negotiation lies a human story—one filled with dreams, aspirations, and challenges. My competitive nature enriches my approach to law, emphasizing resilience, precision and respect under pressure, all while harmonizing strategy and creativity to find solutions. I embrace the challenge of balancing the intricate details of legal frameworks, ensuring that my clients' interests are met with compassion and understanding. In an ever-evolving business landscape, I am dedicated to being a trusted partner that helps businesses flourish and individuals succeed.”
Talisa earned her Bachelor of Commerce (2015) and completed her Juris Doctor (2023) at the University of Alberta. In law school she volunteered with Student Legal Services and the Edmonton Community Legal Centre. Today, she is a valued member of the firms Community Giving Committee.
Talisa enjoys traveling, with Italy as her favorite country and Switzerland considered her second home because of her family connections there. In her downtime, she loves spending time with her two dogs—a Yorkie and a Maltese—and, as a former competitive figure skater, she enjoys getting back on the rink.
