A personal injury lawyer, Pat has dedicated his 35+ year career to helping people in need obtain funds for their care and treatment, and to recover financially from the impact of an accident. Whether a client has suffered a life-changing injury requiring permanent care or has had to take time off work to recuperate from an accident, Pat has the experience, resources and knowledge needed to attain a fair and timely settlement.

Pat begins each new matter by meeting with his client for a detailed review of the claim. From that moment onwards, clients feel knowledgeable about their case and the potential outcomes, empowered by taking positive steps forward, and comforted knowing that Pat personally will lead them through each step of the litigation process. Over the past 35+ years, Pat has successfully represented hundreds of plaintiffs injured in car accidents, slip & falls, aviation accidents and product malfunctions.

With a reputation amongst insurers and defence counsel for taking firm and confident stance backed by meticulous preparation, clients know Pat will fight to reach a fair settlement. Though Pat encourages settlements outside of court whenever possible, his negotiations and trial experience has him prepared for any outcome, including court when necessary. Pat has personal injury trial experience in Provincial Court, Court of Queen's Bench, the Alberta Court of Appeal, and the Supreme Court of Canada. Pat was recognized for his contributions to the legal profession and the community with his appointment as King's Counsel in 2020.

Within and outside of work, Pat continues to roll up his sleeves to help those in need. As a member of Duncan Craig’s Community Giving Committee, he leads by example in our community by volunteering at the Hope Mission, Meals on Wheels, the Food Bank, and Mustard Seed. He is also an avid fitness enthusiast, with hobbies that include hockey, running, golfing, and biking.
