  • Duncan Craig LLP is proud to congratulate John Kosolowski, QC on his appointment as a member of the Marketing of Agricultural Products Act Appeal Tribunal. The Appeal Tribunal is an administrative tribunal whose function is to hear in a fair and impartial fashion, appeals of orders, directions or decisions made by the regulatory agricultural marketing Boards or Commissions as outlined in the Marketing of Agricultural Products Act and the Review and Appeal Regulation. Members are chosen for their knowledge of Alberta's agricultural industry.

John is a member of the Law Society of Alberta, the Canadian Bar Association and serves as a Board Member of the Edmonton Bar Association

    Dave has practiced law in Edmonton since 1980 and has been a partner at the firm since 1987. Dave practices in the areas of Real Estate and Surface Rights. He is the Senior Partner in our Real Estate Group. Dave also plays an active role in the selection and mentorship of summer and articling students. He is a member of the Law Society of Alberta, Edmonton Bar Association, Canadian Bar Association and the Edmonton Chamber of Commerce.

    About Queens Counsel

    The history of Queen's Counsel in England dates back to the 16th century. The practice of appointing Queen's Counsel was continued in Canada and predates Confederation. The first Queen's Counsel appointees were admitted in Upper Canada in 1841.
