Jennalee Steadman is an associate lawyer within our litigation practice group with a focus on insurance & risk management, commercial litigation and employment law.

Jennalee completed her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology (with Distinction) from the University of Calgary and earned her Juris Doctor (with Distinction) at the University of Alberta. During law school, Jennalee volunteered with the Student Legal Services in the Legal Education and Reform Project as well as the Trans ID Clinic. Jennalee also played for the Panda Bearristers (the UAlberta Faculty of Law women’s rugby team).

In Jennalee’s Own Words:
“I grew up in the rural community of Whitecourt, Alberta. I’m grateful for my small-town roots, as I believe they have helped shape who I am as a person. Growing up in Whitecourt gave me a great appreciation for the connections that can be formed and the impact that can be made in people’s lives. I strive to bring this same awareness and connection to my practice as the reason I became a lawyer is to help people, and I feel a deep sense of purpose and responsibility in helping our clients.”

When not practicing law, Jennalee enjoys being outdoors. Her current interests include cross-country skiing in the winter months and kayaking during the summer. When indoors, Jennalee enjoys exploring new baking recipes and practicing yoga
